Saving Lives One Heartbeat at a Time

Why Learn CPR?

Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States according to the CDC. CPR training is important. It can save your life, your children's lives, your parents' lives, or even a stranger's life. Getting trained is easily accessible to anyone who wants it and not hard to complete. Learning the basics can be empowering, and it is something you will remember throughout your lifetime. Currently, about 9 in 10 people who have cardiac arrest outside the hospital die. But CPR can help improve those odds. If it is performed in the first few minutes of cardiac arrest, CPR can double or triple a person's chance of survival.

Who Needs CPR?

All Healthcare Providers: Doctors, Nurses, Dentists, CNA, Chiropractor, PT/OT and all other healthcare providers

City & County Officials: Police officers, EMTs, Paramedics, Firefighters, Municipal and Federal Employees, Power and Water Employees

Educators: School teachers, Coaches, Daycare Staff, Counselors

Professionals: Bank employees, Construction workers, Restaurant staff, Hotel/Retail staff, Manufacturing Personnel

Other Professions: Lifeguard, Personal Trainers, Boy & Girl Scouts, Community Associations, Foster Parents

In reality everyone should learn CPR even if it is Hands Only CPR because that is better than NO CPR at all!
